A. Direct Vacuums is the only authorised refurbisher and reseller of, AEG, Dirt Devil, Electrolux, Hoover, Vax, Vytronix and Zanussi graded products in the UK. All of our products come with a 1 year guarantee for complete peace of mind. We are a large family business with strong values and we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and on our after-sales service. A manufacturer refurbished product offers massive savings to normal shop prices however the performance of the product is the same as a brand new product. Items may have small cosmetic markings and/or small signs of use, meaning you save ££'s.
Whether “New/Other” or “Manufacturer Refurbished”, this product is known as graded. The term graded refers to a product that may have been returned to a manufacturer for a number of reasons, some examples dependant on grade could be:
- Unwanted gift / undelivered mail order
- Minor faults after very little use
- Cosmetically marked
- Missing Parts
- Packaging damage
- Change of mind / not suitable
All products are then electrically tested, repaired, checked, cleaned, serviced and completed by the manufacturer into the original box or a new brown box with all tools and accessories present and correct**

**products such as steamers & carpet washers will have been fully wet-tested as part of our quality control and may show signs of water in the tanks when you receive them, these products are also not sold with cleaning fluids and where applicable, only come with one floor pad.
**tools and accessories may be non-gen substitute parts where the original part is not present or not of a satisfactory condition.
All products are then sold with a 12 month Direct Vacuums guarantee, they are fully working Items that may have slight cosmetic marks and/or show some signs of use.
A. Graded/refurbished items offer a huge saving on retail prices but with the same performance you would expect if new. The items may have minor cosmetic imperfections/marks and/or show some possible signs of light previous use depending on the grade. All items are electrically tested prior to sale and come with all parts present and correct as stated and come with a 12 month guarantee for peace of mind. Graded items can in some cases offer savings of up to hundreds of pounds off of the manufacturers RRP
A. We are the sole contracted return centre for Vax, Hoover, Electrolux, Zannussi and AEG and also hold contracts with Argos, Dixons, Morphy Richards, Henry/Neumatic and many others, All of our stock comes to us Directly from the manufacturer or retailer and we are therefore the only UK based company authorized by them to sell their goods as manufacturer refurbished.

We are open for collections between 8-3.30pm Monday to Friday and 7-12.30pm on Saturdays. Please ring our customer services on 01582 664600 in advance to arrange this please notify us prior to or at the time of ordering. If you have problems finding us please give us a call. There is no extra charge for collection but please bring a copy of your order.
A. The guarantee we offer is an automatic cover from the date of purchase, there is need for registration or any form filling so no guarantee card is required and if you keep a printed copy of your order or PayPal “Thank you for your payment” email this will cover you in the even you should need to provide it.

A. The guarantee actually excludes normal wearing parts on vacuum cleaners such as Filters, Brushes, Belts and Dust bags as the life of these products depends upon the individual item as well as the amount and nature of use. Belts and filters of any vacuum brand, make and model can last anywhere from weeks to years and are therefore not covered under any warranty by any manufacturer across the country.
A. In the event you believe you have received an incomplete or defective order please download the user manual from the manufacturer's support website and check items against the included parts list. Please follow any general maintenance checks detailed within it and please visit our trouble shooting pages for further advice and handy video guides. If you still require assistance, please contact our friendly customer care team who will try to resolve any issues over the phone for you - 01582 664600 option 1.
A. If you have been notified that your item has been dispatched and have not received it within 3 working days please contact us immediately, using your details we will be able to contact the courier and find out exactly where your item is and exactly when you should expect it.
