On Sunday 9th July, members of the Direct Vacuums team took on a 5K Fun Run in aid of the Kids In Action charity. With the sun on their backs and the sweat on their brows, they powered through in the hopes to meet our money raising target of £250 to help support this great charity.
Not only did the determined team meet the target, but our fundraising efforts exceeded it by over £300 with the total currently standing at an impressive £612 - and donations are still coming in. The Fun Run was a huge success overall, with Kids In Action revealing that they collectively raised a minimum of £7000 on the day of the event.
Out of the entire Direct Vacuums team, Anthony Allen and Nick Battams claimed first place, so we’d like to congratulate them on their efforts!
The Direct Vacuums team would also like to say a special thank you to Nathan Dimmock and Andrei-Vasile Vasilache who gladly stepped in to run when members of the team could not make it at the last minute.
