PRODUCING LITTLE OR NO STEAM

Please check the water tank is at least half full with water and that the hard water filter (ensuring the filter is not discoloured) is correctly housed and there are no gaps.

Switch the machine on and pull the trigger once the light has illuminated to indocate that it is ready to use. Hold the trigger down for 1 minute or until steam is produced (this will prime the pump if it has not been done previously).

If no success then the steamer may be blocked. If so, switch the steamer off and unplug from the power socket.

ALLOW THE MACHINE TO FULLY COOL DOWN BEFORE CONTINUING.

Remove the floor head by removing the screw from the neck of the machine or via the release button if your model has one.

Using a small piece of thin wire (eg paperclip or clearing pin if supplied) clear any potential blockage from the neck/nozzle by inserting the wire into the hole where the floor head or tools attach.

Run water through the floor head/tools to remove any potential blockage, then insert the wire/clearing pin into the hole underneath the floor head or the end of the tool.

Re assemble the machine, switch on and hold the steam trigger down for 1 minute.

If no success with any of the above, please contact us for further assistance.

IF THE PRODUCT APPEARS TO HAVE NO POWER

Please check the fuse is a 13amp fuse and also try the product in another power socket.

If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us.

STEAM ESCAPING/LEAKING FROM THE BODY OF THE STEAMER

If the steamer is blocked, then steam will be released from the bleed valve as a safety measure to avoid a build in pressure. If this is the case, then follow the ‘No Steam’ procedure.

If steam is leaking from a join or connection, please cease use of the product and contact us immediately.

IF THE STEAMER IS LEAVING VISIBLE STREAKS ON A HARD FLOOR SURFACE AFTER DRYING

Please ensure the water tank is filled with clean water only and only manufacturer approved detergents.

Ensure you are using a clean floor/cleaning pad.

If too much detergent is used this can leave the floor streaky. Fill the solution tank with 50ml of detergent and 250ml of water, this is ordinarily the correct dilute for most brands (refer to detergent bottle).

Try turning the detergent control dial on the front of the machine down (on some models only) to reduce the amount of detergent released.

If no success, please contact us.

IF THE PRODUCT IS LEAVING THE FLOOR MUCH WETTER THAN EXPECTED

Please ensure you are using a clean floor pad/cleaning pad.

Please be aware that it is not necessary to hold the trigger/button down constantly when using the machine, it should be held in for short periods on stubborn areas and intermittently pressed during normal use if the pad begins to dry.

If the floor is getting very wet, then try releasing the trigger especially when completing several passes over the same area.

Please be aware that is perfectly normal for the floor to become a little wet when using steam products but of course if you are still not satisfied then we would not initially send a replacement as it may perform in exactly the same manner as the existing product if there is no defect with the product. At this point we would normally look to return the product for inspection to decide the next course of action to take.
