NO WATER BEING RELEASED

Please ensure the clean water tank is at least half full with water,

Please check the valve on the clean water tank is functional (this can be done by filling the tank with water, holding over the sink and manually depressing the valve underneath the tank). If water is released then the tank is ok, if not then a replacement tank is required.

Ensure the handle is located correctly when the trigger is pulled, if still no water delivery please remove the handle and manually press the button inside the handle locating stub with a pencil or screwdriver. If it works manually then a replacement handle is required.

(Not applicable to all models)

Check spray bar for blockages, this can be located on the underside of the base by the brush bar, the brush bar may need to be removed on some models if you cannot see the spray bar well enough.

If none of the above resolve the issue, then please contact us.

IF NO WATER IS BEING COLLECTED FROM THE CARPET

Please ensure the front nozzle is clear from obstruction.

Check the seals are in place on the dirty water tank and that the tank is housed correctly and securely locked into position.

Please ensure the pre-motor filter in/behind the dirty water tank is clear from blockage If applicable)

Ensure the emptying cap on the dirty water tank is in place.

Please check there is no damage to the front nozzle or dirty water tank.

Finally, please remove the collection/dirt water tank and locate the suction channel. switch the machine on and place your hand over the channel to feel if the motor is performing correctly and providing air flow/suction.

If none of the above resolve the issue, please contact us.

NO POWER TO THE PRODUCT

Please check the fuse (should be fitted with a 13amp fuse) and if you have a spare one please try changing it.

Check the power outlet (Try the product in another power socket) this may sound odd but it can make all the difference if you have tripped a switch or have a faulty socket and weren’t aware of it.

If no success with either of these then please contact us.

THE PRODUCT IS LEAKING LAREG AMOUNTS OF WATER

With some models a small amount of drippage is not uncommon from joins or tanks valves but in these cases this should be minimal.

Please remove the clean water tank, half fill the tank and hold it over a sink, check the valve to make sure it is not leaking any water when the tank is not fitted to the machine.

Check the retaining cap on the collection/dirty water tank is secure and that the tank is located and locked in correctly, failure to do this may result in dirty water leaking back out and onto the floor.

If the product is leaking water through the base even when the trigger is not pulled, please switch off the machine, remove and empty both tanks and contact us.

LOUD / NOISY DURING USE

It is important to note that carpet washers are often much louder than a vacuum cleaner so this should be expected to some degree as well as a high-pitched noise in some models.

If you feel your product is abnormally loud:

Please check the pre-motor filter is not blocked (if applicable) as when obstructed the motor will make a loud straining sound.

On some models, there is a float chamber within the collection tank to prevent over-filling, this shuts off the suction and will create a high toned strained sound from the motor. Check the float chamber, it is designed to rise with the water in the tank or if there is too much foam from the solution. Empty the tank and ensure the float has dropped to the bottom of the chamber, the float chamber can also be accidentally activated if the machine is tipped at an angle it should not be, eg: if it is knocked over.
