The Top-Scoring recycling bin as tested in Your Home's June 2018 issue, this slimline EKO sensor recycling bin fits a 40 Litre dual recycling capacity into tight spaces. It's only 27cms wide but holds two 20L inner buckets, so it's ideal for sorting out your recycling. The sensor opening lid opens with a wave of your hand and closes itself quietly when you leave. There is a stay-open capability for easy liner changing. You can also open and close the lid with buttons on the front panel. Great value for a strongly built steel sensor recycling bin.

The butterfly opening style of the lid means that this bin has an overall height when open of just 78.5cms. It aligns neatly alongside a run of units.

Please note, like most sensor bins, it is not suitable for placing completely underneath standard countertops - just ensure the front panel is not covered by the worktop. The bin requires a minimum of 50cm of space above it to avoid triggering the opening mechanism. Shelves or wall cabinets etc over 50cm higher than the bin will be fine.

The fingerprint-proof Stainless Steel body keeps its good looks and the lid is made from easy clean, durable black plastic.

The sensor is battery operated requiring 6 AA batteries (not supplied) - note these provide around 20,000 open/close cycles.
